I was born in a small town in Kosovo, in 1982, raised on a farm where 38 of us lived across three connected houses—family bound by love, laughter, and the shadow of war. We fled a dictator's grip in 1991, landing in the Bronx, where I grew up fast—dodging gang influence, fighting to fit in, and building a life from nothing. From a trades high school to Westchester Community College, I turned my hands into tools, launching businesses that crashed, then rose again. Real estate became my empire—Bronx, Queens, Manhattan—I built it all, employed hundreds, and made New York my home. With my wife Tereza, our children Logan and Nora, and a fire that never quits, I've lived the struggles and dreams of this city's people.
Now, I'm running for Congress to represent New York District 14—not as a politician, but as one of you. I've faced oppression, poverty, and the grind; I've built your homes, hired you and your neighbors, and elevated immigrants like me throughout our communities. To every New Yorker—Democrat, Republican, Independent, everyone—I'll fight for you, for your voice, your dreams, because I *am* you. Decades of empty promises end here. Together, we'll ignite a fire, bring a tidal wave of hope, smash the odds, and rise—unbreakable, unstoppable. Join our movement. The fire blazes.
